Recipe Thursday #9 - Beef Stroganoff

This recipe was handed down from my grandmother to my mom and finally to me. I am sure it was on a Campbell's soup can at some point a long time ago. Nevertheless, it's easy/fast to make and a yummy meal for a family.

Easy Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
1/2 to 1 pound lean ground beef or ground sirloin
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 packet or 3 Tbsp brown gravy mix
8 oz sour cream
16 oz cooked pasta of your choice (shells or rotini work best)

Directions
1. Roll ground beef into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter)
2. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat and add Worcestershire
3. Add meatballs to skillet and cook on medium heat until brown
4. Add cream of mushroom and gravy mix to skillet and stir to combine
5. Cook on medium-low heat until bubbling
6. Add sour cream and stir to combine
7. Continue to cook on medium-low heat until bubbling again (about 5 minutes)
8. Serve over pasta

**Note, I usually start the water for the pasta about the same time I start cooking the meatballs. This allows both parts of the dish to finish at the same time.
