And because I have not posted much this week, I wanted to give you a two-for-Thursday! Here's a second recipe for this week's Recipe Thursday!
I just made this on Tuesday for a get together at our house, and it was beyond fabulous! I want to make it again soon!
Peach Cobbler
Ingredients
Filling
- 5 cups peeled and sliced yellow peaches
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
Topping
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2/3 cup milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In medium bowl, toss peeled and sliced peaches with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined
- Pour melted butter into bottom of 13x9 baking dish
- Add peach mixture to buttered dish and spread evenly
- In large bowl, mix sugar, salt, baking powder, flour, cinnamon, and milk until well combined
- Spoon mixture evenly over peaches
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until top is golden and fluffy
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
